Arioso is a piano practice app for iPhone and iPad. It listens while you play an acoustic or digital piano and reflects back what you actually played.
Arioso does not collect your personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. Nothing you play or record is sent to us or to anyone else.
Arioso asks for microphone access so it can hear you play. Audio is analysed entirely on your device, in real time, to work out which notes were sounded.
You can revoke microphone access at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Microphone. Arioso's listening features will stop working, and the rest of the app will continue to function.
Arioso stores your practice progress — the segments you have created, which stages you have cleared, and your practice history — so it is there when you come back.
If you are signed in to iCloud and have iCloud Drive enabled, this data syncs across your own devices using Apple's CloudKit, in your private iCloud database. That database belongs to your Apple Account. We cannot see it, and we have no server that receives it.
If you prefer not to sync, turn iCloud off for Arioso in Settings › [your name] › iCloud. The app keeps working with data stored only on that device.
You can erase everything Arioso has stored from inside the app, using the reset option in Settings.
Arioso offers optional one-time in-app purchases that unlock additional books of music. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We never see or receive your payment details. Your purchases are tied to your Apple Account, which is what allows Restore Purchases to work on a new device.
If you email us for support, we will have whatever you choose to put in that email. We use it to answer you and nothing else, and we do not add you to any mailing list.
Arioso is suitable for all ages and does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
